Putting out great content each week takes great effort. As a co-podcaster, I’m always fascinated listening to other shows to see what works well. First Time Ever Leaving a Podcast Review!
I have never submitted a podcast review on my own like this, but I SO appreciated the episode with Erick Rheam that I knew I had to leave a raving review! Erick gave immense value in the show and was so generous with his advice. The questions posed to him were so helpful and I appreciated how candid both the interviewer and interviewee were. As a speaker taking off, I really appreciated Erick’s story and advice. It was rock solid! I will definitely be implementing some of his strategies for two upcoming keynotes. It was invaluable to me! Thanks for coming on the show Erick and thanks to the entire Speaker Lab team for creating THE best speaker content out there specific to speakers. I listen and learn all the time. I’ll be a long time listener. Thank you!!

Useful info on how to build a speaking business
The host of this podcast wrote a book, The Successful Speaker. I like the book, as it offers useful tips. The podcast is a great extension of that.

    Highly Recommended…
I did not listen to podcasts before hearing about The Speaker Lab back in probably 2015 or 2016. The program content covers a wide variety of topics from the very beginning of a speaking career to the depths of the bus. The Speaker Lab podcasts encourage me to pursue my dreams of being a speaker. I used to jog to the 25-40 minute podcasts several times a week, listening to many several times. TSL - Grant & the team, provided so many resources and real life relatable stories and scenarios which again have encouraged me to continue pursuing my dreams. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to break into speaking or any audience driving / stage performance career/business to listen to all the knowledge shared! Plus the positive attitudes & encouraging atmosphere are totally reason enough to listen! I’m a stage hypnotist ( performer) & speaker and these podcasts are so helpful for all aspects! Life changing in so many for me & others in the same boat! Chad “The Hypnotist”

A must-listen for online business owners!
Grant is my go-to when it comes to leveling up my speaking game. While booking paid gigs is certainly part of my marketing strategy, I’ve been amazed at the MANY areas where I’ve been able to apply Grant’s philosophies in my online business (my podcast, sales calls, zoom meetings, team events, and social media videos to name a few). Truly a must-listen if you want to build your influence, income, and impact, particularly in the online space!

What a treat for the noob to the seasoned pro
Grant and The Speaker Lab have an outstanding one-two punch of technical mastery and empathetic expertise. I especially enjoy how much they go behind-the-scenes with featuring their own staff, so you really get to know the people behind the business. Even though I am not a regular paid speaker (a half-dozen gigs so far), the information in these shows are so valuable for helping me plan between a purposeful hobby and a sustainable business model. Professional speaking isn’t for everyone; they really go into the nuts and bolts over what it takes and there’s no sugar-coating about it, but it still makes it fun to learn and enjoy. I would definitely take their class when I’m ready to go to the next step. So for now, I build my knowledge and strategy – thanks, fellow Grant

    Invaluable insights
I loved listening to this month’s student highlight podcast! Maryalice and Chris did an amazing job of highlighting a really important aspect of this work, and that is realizing your self-worth and standing powerfully in that. It’s so important for abundance in all the areas of your life, and is especially true in this world of speaking from a place of passion and authenticity.

I’ve recently found this podcast and it’s been both informative and motivating. Practical insights abound from the guests who are all at different points in their journey, as well as Grant. He makes sure the value of his offerings is clear but it is not a sales pitch. That’s a classy touch in this realm. I highly recommend it for someone considering going all in as a speaker. I’m on the diving board ready to do a triple lindy as I type. Thanks Grant (and Team)!
