One of these guys works in the business world and the other guy is a literature teacher (I think) so they give a great perspective on the stories of games as well as the business of games. Very great and very underrated

I’m embarrassed to admit how many gaming podcasts I listen to, but POB is definitely my favorite. The hosts use a consistent method for rating the games based on the components players are most interested in and their commentary is always insightful without verging over into spoilers. They have great taste in the games they choose to discuss from the most popular to lesser known indies worth trying. I feel like when I listen to the show I’m listening to two really smart people who have a genuine love of video games.

I really enjoy the way Cameron and Jake breakdown each game they cover. This framework is a great way of analyzing games. Some of my favorite episodes have been Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, A Short Hike and Marvel's Spiderman

I really enjoy listening to this podcast. Cameron and Jacob have great personalities and play off each other well. The conversations come off natural, not forced, like a couple buddies talking about their favorite video games. They’re approach is unique, with a thoughtful, intellectual approach to the games. I’ve downloaded several games I never would’ve considered after listening to their podcasts.
