KtMcBryantVery HelpfulI am new to my walk with Jesus and the Bible is very overwhelming. I have listened to this podcast all the way through one time already and found it so helpful. I’m currently listening again because I find it really does a great job giving me an understanding of each book.

lightbugAmazing - I justfinished listening to all the booksHow refreshing this has been. my heart is much lighter and I can see clearly God‘s love for all of us. I have been sharing and passing this around to friends family and those people I bump into. I am 100% confident that this series is changing lives. Thank you Mike Beaumont and the team that helped produce Bible books in 30 minutes, my high school and College age sons are beginning to listen to these podcasts. My heart and prayer for them is that they would soak in the beauty of God‘s love for them and the reality of his presence in today’s world. Thank you for for listening to God and producing such a thoughtful series that will be passed from family to family for years to come.

Not really feewGreat but chooses when to discuss difficult thingsI think this is an amazing resource and is very helpful for those looking for a general overview of the books of the Bible however, there are episodes like, #10 2 Samuel, that miss the historical accuracy mark that is very, very important. In this episode, what is taught is that Bathsheba has an affair with David. Which is dodging the fact that David rapes Bathsheba, then has her husband killed and as a result of David’s sin, God takes their 1st born child. That is why Bathsheba is only mentioned in scripture as Uriahs wife. The distinction is to notate that what David did sin. At first, I thought maybe this podcast was trying not to talk about sexual assault but later in the episode it does discuss the raping of Tamar by her brother Amnon. Which means that the horror what what David did is being overlooked, likely because it’s a very popular western view that we are to “strive for hearts like David” but, there is profound purpose in teaching the entirety of scripture- the good and the ugly. Overall, I think this is a useful resource but, if you are a new believer or someone who is starting their theology journey, it’s best to listen and then go review other sources so a full picture of scripture can be achieved.
